NRNA Youth Forum Interacts with Youth Organizations in Kathmandu

NRNA Youth Forum, the youth wing of Non-Resident Nepali Association from 78 countries, has organized an interaction program with twenty three different Nepalese Youth Organizations in Kathmandu on 12th Feb. 018. Mr. Sudan Thapa, the Youth Coordinator of NRNA chairing meetings urged all participant organizations to develop mutual trust and values bringing new paradigm in youth movement and empowerment. Mr. Thapa announced the forum will work to make future youth migrants workers and students aware of challenges and opportunities of foreign migration through experienced NRNs. He also expressed his commitment towards developing a program for successful diaspora achiever to share their knowledge and experiences among Nepalese youths through formation of “Achiever’s Club”. He also called for increased interaction between the youth residing outside and inside of the country.

The orientation of the interaction was towards building relation between diaspora youth movement and youth campaign in Nepal. Participants also discussed youth Entrepreneurship development, promotion of innovative ideas, effective network development, skill and vocational education along with technology transfer and investment from diaspora youth in Nepal. Mr. Karna Bahadur Bhawaji, Under Secretary of National Youth Council, presented council’s perspective on youth development and empowerment. He asked NRNA Youth Forum to perform creative leadership role in building closer relation between diaspora and Nepalese youths.

 

Participants thanked to NRNA Youth Forum for an opportunity to meet and discuss issues of diaspora youth. The forum has committed to develop common platform for all Nepalese youth organizations sharing common interests based on common values through joining of hands between diaspora and Nepalese youths.
