NRNA Thailand 3rd Phase Relief Progress Report

NRNA Thailand has completed 3rd phase of COVID-19 relief aid program by providing food and other necessity to 150 stranded Nepali in Thailand including students and human trafficking victims.  The provided relief good  is enough to the end of June as NRNA Thailand promised them earlier. NRNA Thailand decided to extend distributing relief package to 3rd phase after Thai government extended no international flight to 30 June.
The relief package directly benefits students and other Nepali stranded in the different locations in Bangkok, Pattaya Phuket and Koh Phagang Island in the south.
NRNA NCC Thailand hold meeting held on 25th May after completing distributing of 2nd phase. The meeting decided to extend relief activities as per assessment of  NRNA Thailand COVID-19 Task Force based the fund raised by NRNA Thailand. Another reason for extension of relief package was Thai and Nepal government extended the restriction international flights by the end of June.
The meeting also decided to close distributing relief package in the 3rd phase or in the end of June getting indication from NRNA Thailand rescue flight management team that included Atish Shrestha (treasure), Shree Hari Acharya (secretary) and Subas Thapa (youth coordinator) that all Nepali can go back home within the month of June.
